First Paying Customer!

Yup on my Canadian Financial Opinions I have my first actual paying advertiser. I was impressed as hell that they wanted to actually give me money to put up a small ad on my page, and I now have the money! Holy cow! This pays much better than Adsense does right now, so this is something to keep in mind. If your site becomes popular enough someone will ask you about advertising on your site, and you’ll need to have a dollar value in mind, so another thing to plan for (when you succeed).

Then, someone else is sending me a book to review on my blog. Interesting, this must mean folks are reading my site often and my “name” is now out there. I am getting somewhere between 200 and 500 hits a day, so that is pretty good I think. I have over 50 RSS feeds as well, so my site is slowly building.

Next step, completely revamp the look and start adding features!
