Big Reader Buttons

So an interesting function of me creating the BIG RED subscribe button is that somehow I have increased my RSS readership by 10 more readers? OK, so I guess I don’t understand advertising, and I am not positive that change alone did it, but that was a very good tip, none the less. I have asked Feedburner a couple of times, if I could be in their monetization program, but I guess they will add me, only after I have a large enough readership? Not sure, but I never hear back from them about it. Hope springs eternal in that area.

It’s a busy week this week, and I am barely coming up with topics for my main blog, let alone this one, since I am not doing too much to try to increase my readership, but I will attempt to keep things fresh over here too.

Continue to fiddle around over at Myspace, but really am only able to become “friends” with every musician I like (or at least their myspace web site), which is kind of cool. I somehow doubt it is driving anyone over to my blogs, anyone had any success with this?

    Just wanted to get back to you regarding the ad network question you raised. Our criteria for inclusion in the ad network is made up of the following:

    - Number of subscribers/pageviews
    - Quality of content
    - Type of content (i.e. do we see ad interest in that type of content)

    We are taking a measured approach to building our ad network in order to ensure that we keep the amount of ads and amount of content aligned as we grow.
