Power of Blogs

Well after last week’s Apple share price melt down thanks to an unsubstantiated rumor by a prominant A-list web site, it makes me wonder, who exactly is viewing this information as the “gospel truth”?
Blogs are great to get technical info from, but then again, you can verify that information so easily (just try it out and see what you find), it is useful for rumors and here saybut using it as a basis for your investing, that’s taking a big risk, in my opinion. I guess if you are looking for the “edge” on other investors, you could use it if you know the risks, but what stops an unscrupulous short seller from doing the same thing? (and who says that wasn’t the idea in the first place)?
I am still being lost in the Google search world, with even my echo posts disappearing off the search world. Still getting not bad readership, but hey, something funny is going on here, that is for sure. Need to revamp and rehost, I suspect, and when I get some free time, that is what will happen.
Found out a really cool thing about snapper, if you put in a wikipedia entry say like procrastination, snapper then brings the wikipedia entry up, when you pass over the link! Cool!
