Page Rank in the Crapper

Yup, after all of my careful work to make sure that most of my articles link from my blogspot site to my new site, my PageRank never came with me. Currently the site’s Page Rank is a whopping ZERO (0) with no site of increasing.
This is funny because my Alexa rating is now below 600,000 which it never has ever been and the number of external links in Yahoo (and in Google) is over 7,000, so I guess I just don’t understand what Page Rank is, how it is calculated or what it actually means any more.
Before I moved the site, I went from a 5/10 Page Rank, to a 4/10 and then finally a 2/10 page rank and now I am at ZERO, oh well, guess just goes to show, now hard work goes unpunished.
